Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Hoops Rental provides trailer-mounted basketball hoop rentals for events and gatherings. Our services include the rental of equipment, delivery, setup, and pickup within our service area.

3. Booking Terms

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received and processed. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

  • Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance
  • All information provided during booking must be accurate and complete
  • The person making the booking must be 18 years of age or older
  • Booking confirmation will be sent via email to the address provided

4. Payment Terms

A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The deposit amount is specified during the booking process and is applied toward the total rental cost.

  • Deposits are collected via secure online payment processing
  • The remaining balance, if any, is due before or at the time of delivery
  • All prices are in US Dollars and are subject to applicable taxes
  • Additional fees may apply for extended delivery distances

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled rental start date are eligible for a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental start date may not be eligible for a refund, at our discretion.

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days
  • No-shows forfeit the full deposit amount
  • We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to severe weather or safety concerns, with a full refund provided

6. Damage and Liability

The renter is responsible for the rented equipment during the entire rental period, from delivery to pickup. The renter agrees to:

  • Use the equipment safely and in accordance with provided instructions
  • Not modify, disassemble, or tamper with the equipment
  • Report any damage immediately
  • Pay for repairs or replacement of damaged or stolen equipment
  • Ensure adequate supervision of minors using the equipment

7. Weather Policy

Basketball hoops are for outdoor use and may be affected by weather conditions. The renter acknowledges:

  • Play should cease during lightning, thunderstorms, or high winds
  • We may postpone or cancel delivery if conditions are unsafe for towing
  • Light rain does not constitute grounds for cancellation
  • In the event of a weather cancellation by us, a full refund or reschedule will be offered

8. Delivery and Pickup

Delivery and pickup are available within our service area. The renter must:

  • Provide a flat, paved surface for equipment setup
  • Ensure adequate access for the delivery vehicle and trailer
  • Be present or have an authorized representative present during delivery and pickup
  • Clear the area of obstacles before delivery

9. Use Restrictions

The rented equipment must not be:

  • Used on uneven, unpaved, or unstable surfaces
  • Moved from the delivery location without authorization
  • Used for hanging, climbing, or any purpose other than basketball
  • Used while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Sublet or transferred to another party

10. Late Returns and Overtime Fees

Equipment must be available for pickup at the agreed-upon end time. Late returns are subject to additional charges at the daily rental rate, prorated hourly, with a minimum of 2 hours. A grace period of up to 2 hours may be provided at our discretion.

11. Limitation of Liability

Hoops Rental shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our equipment or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the rental. The renter assumes all risk associated with the use of basketball equipment.

12. Indemnification

The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Hoops Rental, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from the renter's use of the equipment or violation of these terms.

13. Safety

Users of the equipment assume all risk of injury. Proper athletic footwear should be worn. Children should be supervised at all times. Do not attempt to dunk or hang on the rim. Follow all posted safety guidelines.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the business operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
